JayZ & Yung Jeezy Controversy
There is nothing wrong with taking pride in ones art, however, when it is used to denounce things in the most unethical manner ever, one must be reminded of what he is actually doing or at least perpetuating. Although most would disagree with the content of that vid, Yung Jeezy and Jayz in full though were only accessing their first amendment rights to speak as they please. Fox, on the other hand, tried to make a big deal out of what was stated that night, yet when Don Imus made his remarks they chose to hide behind his first amendment rights, therefore if Don can be safe with freedom of speech so can these rappers. That video is nothing more than a celebration of joy, which they’re entitled to feel given the history of this country. Their choice of words could have been better but then again one can say the same for Don Imus. What is good for one is good for all. First amendment rights, you just have to LOVE AMERICA!
